These terms apply when you download VNIT Reset Tool (“the tool”) or buy a reset key from VNIT Co., Ltd (“VNIT”, “we”).
1. What a key gives you
- One reset key allows one full reset of the waste ink counter on one printer.
- Keys do not expire.
- A yearly technician key allows unlimited resets for its term on the one computer it is activated on.
- You may not resell or share keys except through our reseller program.
2. Free features
Downloading the tool, reading the counter and one trial reset per printer are free. We may change or end free features at any time.
3. Your responsibility for the ink pads
A reset only changes the counter. It does not remove ink from the waste pads. You are responsible for checking the pads after a reset and washing, replacing or draining them when needed. Ink that overflows from saturated pads can damage the printer and its surroundings.
4. Payment
Keys are sold through Gumroad, which processes the payment and may add sales tax or VAT. Gumroad's own terms apply to the checkout. Refunds follow our refund policy.
5. No warranty
The tool is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that it works with every printer or every firmware version. To the extent the law allows, VNIT is not liable for damage to printers, data or property, or for any indirect loss, arising from use of the tool. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the key concerned.
6. Printers under manufacturer warranty
If your printer is still under the manufacturer's warranty, contact the manufacturer's service centre first.
7. Acceptable use
Do not reverse engineer, tamper with or bypass the licensing of the tool, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
8. Trademarks
VNIT is not affiliated with Seiko Epson Corporation. Epson is a trademark of Seiko Epson Corporation.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam.
