1. What the tool sends
When you read, trial or reset a printer, VNIT Reset Tool sends our server:
- the printer model and serial number,
- a computer ID generated by the tool,
- the key used, if any,
- the counter values and the result of the operation,
- the tool version, the Windows version and printer driver details,
- your IP address, from which we record the country.
Why: to check keys, limit the free trial to one per printer, support you, and improve support for printer models. The tool does not read or send documents, print jobs or files.
2. When you buy a key
Gumroad processes your payment and shares with us your email address, the product bought, the amount and your country. We use your email to send your keys and to let you recover them. We never see your card details.
3. This website
vnitreset.com sets no tracking cookies and uses no third-party analytics. Our server counts page views by page, country, referring site and device type, without identifying you. If you use the “email me the link” or “My keys” forms, we use your email only for that request.
4. Who processes data for us
- Gumroad: payments.
- Cloudflare: website delivery and protection.
- Our email delivery provider: sending keys and links.
5. How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as Vietnamese accounting law requires. Reset records are kept while they are needed to check keys, count free trials and support you. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, except records we must keep by law.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by emailing us. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the rights given by the GDPR, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.
